Recent studies in the USA have shown that families spend about 36 minutes per weekday together and per week, they spend less than eight hours together on average. This is mainly because we get so caught up in life and work that we forget to make time for the things that matter most.
The pressure on family time has grown considerably and work- life balance is an increasingly difficult area to maintain. We are too busy trying to make a living that we forget to live.
Your children are and will always be your biggest gift and that is something that must be treasured. When last did you take your children on a proper holiday? We tend to think that watching TV with our children is spending time with them, but that is not the quality time that is necessary for your family.
Vacations are an excellent way to slow down, enjoy time with your family and create that bond that must be between kids and their parents – and even between husband and wife.
