Tanzania Special

Tanzania, is a place where nature is at its wildest. It is surrounded by three great lakes of Africa – Lake Victoria, Lake Tanganyika and Lake Malawi. Vast swathes of Savanah grasslands decorate Tanzania’s hinterlands and the real beauty of the country shines through its amazing biodiversity and wildlife.

Beyond the eastern shores lie the splendid island-city of Zanzibar, which has anchored itself in the passage of history as a city of many ideas and cultures. Absorbing the vibes from faraway lands, it is rightly called the gateway to Africa.

This very impressive Waterfall is one of the tallest in the area, spewing crystal clear glacier water 70m into its basin. The beautiful path leading to Materuni Waterfall is located 2500m above sea level.

Old Moshi Kilimanjaro Cultural Tourism Enterprise is an Eco – cultural tourism entity based in Old Moshi,Moshi rural region. Its situated approx 10 km from Moshi town . Old Moshi is where Moshi town was first established by Germany in 1893 by building army millitarypost which is what present day Kolila Secondary School Later on when Germany introduced locomotive train after Tanga Moshi railway completed, locomotive train could not reach Kolila where Germany Boma was due to its steepness location. so the lower ground was established as new settlement and is what the present Moshi town is.Kolila is referred to Old Moshi as its present day. It has a scenic view of Moshi town as its located in the higher slopes of mountain Kilimanjaro.

A free-standing, snow-covered dormant volcano, majestic Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa. Located in northeast Tanzania, it can be seen from far into Kenya and Amboseli National Park. 75,000 people climb Kilimanjaro every year so it is not the most untouched mountain, nor is it the most arduous. However, it is certainly a test of one’s endurance, with altitude sickness the main reason for climbers not to summit. Although it has become a very popular challenge and the experience slightly crowded with other climbers, we still highly recommend it for anyone with even a vague interest in mountaineering.
